POUND. —On August 12, 1948, at Greymouth, William Thomas, beloved husband of Eliza Rose Pound, Alexander terrace, Greymouth; in his 79th year; native of Wincanton, Somersetshire, England. The funeral will leave the residence of his daughter, Mrs G. F. Howes, corner Milton Road and Nelson street, Greymouth, at 2.30 p.m. on Sunday for the Karoro Cemetery .—Bellamy’s (Arthur King and Les Patterson), Funeral Directors. WICKS. —On August 13, 1948, at the Greymouth Hospital, Roland Bulmer Priestly, beloved husband of Jessie May Wicks, 235 Antigua street, Christchurch, in his 55th year.
