MARSHALL PLAN OPPOSED BY LEFT WING SOCIALISTS
(Rec. 11 a.m.) WARSAW, June 7. The Left Wing Socialists’ conference adopted a resolution that the Marshall ■ Plan “was one of the weapons in the American imperialistic offensive,” aimed at checking Europe’s economical development.
The resolution added that the Eastern European nations “can maintain healthy economic relations with America and utilise rational American credit when it does not violate their national sovereignty and independence. The Marshall Plan promoters have failed to accept this thesis.”
