The Chief Scientist of the British Ministry of Supply (Sir Ben Lockspeiser) has denied a statement attributed to him that Australia and New Zealand would be centres of aeronautical and radar research costing a fabulous sum. He would not elaborate the blunt comment that he had been misreported, or indicate whether other published remarks attributed to him were correct.—Melbourne, April 6.
