Film Inquiry Committee Elects Chairman
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Parliamentary Select _ Committee set up last session to inquire into the motion picture industry in New Zealand, held its first meeting today when Mr R. M. Macfarlane (Government, Christchurch Central), was elected chairman. The committee will meet again from May 18 to hear evidence and will be open to the press.
