Buller Power
The Buller Electric Power Board has received advice from the State Hydro Department that an agreement is being prepared whereby the board will receive bulk power from the State grid, as soon as it is available at the standard rates. This means that the board will purchase its power at the rate of £2 10s per k.v.a. per quarter for the first 200 k.v.a., and £2 for the balance. Members of the board are proceeding to Wellington in an endeavour to reach finality with the Mines Department ip regard to the purchase of the distribution system of the department.
