ARMING OF AMERICAN MERCHANT SHIPS
(Rec. 2.15 p.m.) WASHINGTON, March 15.. The Senate today approved unanimously a Bill to renew President Truman’s power to arm all United State's merchant ships during a national emergency. Mr Trumans present authority to arm United States ships is due to expire on July 1. -
