The deadlock which arose through butchers boycotting the Addington market because approved retail charges were considered inadequate to cover high prices at auction was broken yesterday afternoon when the Canterbury Master Butchers’ Association met to review the position. , , The president (Mr E. R. Blanchard) announced after the meeting that fat stock would be bought for butchers at Addington tomorrow. Committees of three butchers would buy in each of the fat lamb, mutton and fat cattle sections.
