The weather cleared after rain earlier in the morning for the opening day of the Ohinemuri Jockey Club’s autumn meeting yesterday at Paeroa and the going was easy. The totalisator handled £63,015, compared with £64,867 on the corresponding day last year, a decrease of £1852.
