VISIT OF ELECTRIC RESEARCH DIRECTOR
The research director of the British General Electric Company Ltd., London, Sir Clifford Patterson, will arrive at Auckland with Lady Paterson on Thursday and will stay in the Dominion until April 13. Sir Clifford, a member of the Advisory Council of the British Department of scientific and Industrial Research, will consult with the scientific and industrial staff here and with the hydro-electric Department. Sir Clifford will pay Auckland a visit on Friday and Christchurch on Monday. He will spend Easter in Dunedin. Sir Clifford is coming to Wellington on March 31, to visit the standards Institute, the Physical Laboratory, the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, the Hydro-electric Department and the Dominion Observatory. ______________
