MORE BUILDING FIRMS SUMMONSED
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, March 12. Summonses alleging breaches of the Economic Stabilisation Emergency Regulations, 1942, have been served on two more Auckland building firms on the information of Gordon Brown, inspector of factories, Auckland. Each firm is charged with paying an increase of lid an hour in the basic rate of remuneration of a carpenter. The firms are F. G. Rose and Sons, Ltd, Dilworth buildings, and R. Savory Ltd, Wilkinson road, Ellerslie. Two other firms were served with summonses earlier this week, j and informations against another two have been filed.
The hearings in the Magistrate’s Court have been set down for Friday.
