WARNING TO U.S. CONSULATE IN JERUSALEM

The United States Consulate was evacuated today when it was warned that the building would be bombed. Arab snipers fired at a Jewish bus, killing two passengers at the southern end of the Sea of Galilee.
Snipers wounded several Jews near Maanil settlement, between Tel Aviv and Haifa. British travellers from Haifa report that I he. Arabs have built 100 miles of road-blpcks and other defences. They have erected a concrete wall around Nablus, whore they are checking all travellers’ identities.
A Jewish Agency spokesman told journalists in Jerusalem that the Jews would search all cars, including diplomatic ones, entering the Jewish zones.
