SIAM EXPECTED TO HONOUR OBLIGATIONS
(Rec. 1 p.m.) LONDON, November 12. . The Foreign Office said that FieldMarshal Philbun Songgram informed the British Minister at Bangkok that the new Siamese Government would honour its international obligations, which include the supplying of rice
to India and south-east Asia. A spokesman said Britain’s attitude to the new Government was still being discussed. A message from Bangkok says that Prince Chakaphan Pensiri will fly to Switzerland on Friday to invite King Phumiphon Adulet, aged 19, to return to Siam immediately and assume the throne. He is making the trip at the behest of' Field-Marshal Songgram. _______
