The following . weather forecast was issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, at noon today:—r Situation: A ridge of high pressure is over New Zealand; a depression in the South Tasman Sea is approaching slowly. Forecast to 5 p.m. tomorrow: Light to moderate, variable winds; fair to fine; cool night but mild day temperatures. Further outlook: Some scattered rain developing. Nil Rainfall to date 72.43 in Sunshine yesterday B.6hrs Sunshine since April 1 ' 903 hrs The depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 27ft 9in.
