AMERICAN AID FOR BRITAIN
(Rec. 2 p.m.) LONDON, October 23. The United States Ambassador to Britain, Mr Lewis Douglas, upon his arrival at Southampton after talks with President Truman, said: “It is not likely there will be any United States help for Britain before Christmas.”
