BRITAIN GRATEFUL FOR N.Z. AID
(Rec. 11.10 a.m.) LONDON, October 15. The Minister of Food, Mr Strachey, replying to a cable from the New Zealand Dairy Board’s Dominion conference, which promised the utmost aid in making up the loss of Danish butter to Britain, says: “I appreciate the generous gesture and it is impossible to thank you all enough for the wonderful help New Zealand has given us during difficult years. We are greatly touched by this further instance of your goodwill.”
