WORLD CHIEF GUIDE TO VISIT GREY DISTRICT NEXT YEAR
Lady Baden-Powell, World Chief Guide, will pay a visit to Greymouth early next year, arriving here on February 24. Advice to this effect has been received by the Greymouth Girl Guide organisation from the New Zealand headquarters. Lady Baden-Powell, who is now travelling through Australia, is due to arrive in New Zealand in January. While in Greymouth, she will meet members of the district Guide movement, and it is hoped that an official function will be arranged.
