BUTTERFAT PRICE UP IN AUSTRALIA
CANBERRA, October 13..
The Federal Cabinet has approved of the raising of the wholesale price of butterfat by 4£d per lb. The general price (received by the farmer will now be 2s per lb. The Government has also approved the granting of a subsidy of £250,000 for the advancement of the industry, to be spread over five years.
