Introducing Mr Emmanuel Shinwell at the colliery meeting, Mr G. E. Pritchard, secretary of the Blackhall branch of the National Union of Mineworkers, said it' was an affront to the miners that Mr Shinwell had been removed as Fuel Minister. Mr Shinwell said the encouragement he had received at week-end meetings had amply compensated fo.' anything that had happened during the week. ,
