“MISS NEW ZEALAND”
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day.. The name of the ideal New Zealand girl will be announced at a special gathering in lhe Wellington Town Hall on November 5, according to an announcement by Mr K. WKilpatrick, executive director of the “Miss New Zealand” quest. The district finalists would be named as soon as the judges had found them and all the finalists would go to Wellington early in November for the final selection, he said. To date there were 26 entrants, 14 from the South island and 12 from the North Island.
