PICKEN. —On September 26, 1947, at Cobden,- Thomas, beloved husband of Bertha Julia Picken, of 2 Firth street, Cobden; native of Dunedin; in his 75th year (Suddenly). The funeral will leave his late residence, Firth street, Tomorrow (Sunday), at 3.30 p.m., for the Karoro Cemetery.— Sampson’s (Gordon Patterson), Funderal Director.
WALKER.— On September 27, 1947, at Reefton Hospital, Alfred George Walker. Native of Nelson and late of Rocklands Buller in his 72nd year. Private interment at Reefton on Monday.—Stanley Austin, Funeral Director.
