The following weather forecast was issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, at noon today:— Situation: An intense anti-cyclone is .over the north-west Tasman; deep depressions are east and south of New Zealand.
Forecast to s’p.m. tomorrow: Moderate variable winds; a few scattered showers considerable, but fair intervals; temperatures cold with frosts. Further outlook: Changeable with occasional showers.
