In a match played at Greymouth last evening for the Gunn casket, the St. John’s Badminton Club won the trophy from Hokitika by seven games to five. Stapleton 17; Mrs Buchanan and Mrs Wilkins 10. lost to Mrs Rutland and Mrs Wallace 21; Miss Thompson and Miss Blackie 19, lost to Miss Carlyon and Miss Wieblitz 21. Men’s Doubles.—W. Tennent and J Luey 21. beat A. Stevenson and D. Watt 18; R. Bly th and P. Wilkins 21. beat E. Walker and N. Stoop 9; R. Saunders and T. Vincent 21, beat K. Mulrennan and D. Pfahlert 17.
