MAN ARRESTED AT BLACKBALL: CAR CONVERSION ALLEGED
A young marri’ed man was arrested at Blackball this afternoon by Detective Sergeant N. Thompson, of Greymouth, and Constable Walden, of Blackball, in connection with the alleged conversion of a motor-car from Greymouth on Tuesday. The car was found late at night on the Greymouth-Blackball road, near Kamaka, in a badly damaged condition, having crashed into a bank. The arrested man will appear in the Magistrate’s Court at Greymouth tomorrow.
