LATE NEWS BRITAIN TO ASK DOMINIONS TO REDUCE IMPORTS
(Rec. 3.5 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 2. When the Commonwealth financial experts meet in London for dollar talks. Sir Stafford Cripps will ask that the Dominions cut their imports from Britain at the same time as they save dollars by buying less from the United States, .says .the Daily Express political correspondent. The diversion of goods to the Dominions to make up for reduced American imports might seriously affect Britain’s prospects of recovering from the dollar crisis.
