ATHLETICS MANAGER OF OLYMPIC TEAM CHOSEN

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association at last night’s meeting nominated Mr W. L. Towers as manager of the Olympic team to go to London next year. A nomination from Canterbury, that Messrs S. G. Leeder and W. H. Saundercock be selected ag officials, was approved. The council decided to ask all athletic clubs in New Zealand to send as many food parcels as they could afford to. fellow athletes' in England. The parcels would be sent to Wellington and from there -to the Amateur Athletic Association, in England.
