Farmers’ Vote On Lime Issue
Sir, —In your report of the meeting of Federated Farmers in Saturday’s Evening Star, the Rotomanu delegate was stated to have been one who voted in favour of assistance to the Cobden lime scheme. Will you pleace correct that error, as the Rotomanu delegate was not one of the three delegates who voted in favour of the Cobden, scheme. I was the Rotomanu delegate.—Yours etc. M. R. PALMER, Rotomanu, August 31. We have since been informed that the Inchbonnie, not the Rotomanu, delegate recorded one of the threb votes favouring the Cobden lime scheme. We.regret the error.—Editor. Evening Star.
