(Recd. 10.40 a.m.) BUDAPEST, August 31. Voting began in Hungary’s general election at 12,000 polling stations. The Communist Party reported that three men were killed in election fights with peasants in Somogy county. The three Opposition parties alleged that the Communists organised large-scale “multiple” voting throughout Hungary.

The local police arrested five, but the State political police released them. The Independents’ Democrat Party officials said that one Communist was caught carrying 150 voting cards.
