Wellington Competitions
Miss Louise Arnold, of Christchurch, won the New Zealand test recital for women at the Wellington competitions festival on Saturday night. The bass test was won by Mr Geoffrey de Latour, of Dunedin, who also won the Wellington Competitions Society’s vocal scholarship for men. Clifford Dowling (Wellington) was second. The Robert Parker Memorial piano solo was won by Barnie Dentice (Wellington).— (P.A.)
