Down one goal at half-time, the New Zealand schoolboys were unable to settle down in the second Association football test at Brisbane and lost the match by 3 goals to 0. The visitors showed great dash and kept up the pressure, but the Australian backs were too strong. The forwards started several good moves, but the chances were last because of weak finishing. The Australian forwards played brilliantly, and Phelen and McLeod were outstanding. In the closing stages New Zealand rallied and forced several corners, but were unable to get past the Australian keeper, Johnson.
