BILLIARDS TWOHILL DEFEATED IN SEMI-FINAL
AUCKLAND, August 29.
The final of the New Zealand amateur billiards championship will be contested tomorrow by J. J. Shepherd, of Auckland, the 1945 champion, and C. Peek, of Wellington. Shepherd beat A. Twohill, of West Coast, by 666 to 477 in the first semi-final, and Peek beat W. Smith, of Canterbury, by 666 points to 561.
