WOMAN SHOT DEAD: MAN ARRESTED ON MURDER CHARGE
(P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Aug. 13. A woman was shot dead by a bullet from a rifle in the kitchen of her home at Tututawa, about 24 miles from Stratford, this morning. In the afternoon a young man was arrested in the Mangamingi district, about four miles away. He will be charged in the New Plymouth Magistrate’s Court tomorrow morning with murder. _ .
