Ryder Cup Matches
The Professional Golfers’ Association announced that Ryder Cup matches will be played in America on November 1 and 2 at a venue which the American P.G.A. will arrange. Transportation problems, it was stated, made an earlier date impossible. —London, August 12. South Africa v Lancashire Lancashire in its second innings against South Africa lost eight wickets for 233 declared (Washbrook 57). South Africa in its second innings scored 30 without loss.
