DEPARTURES Tuesday, August 12 Kakapo s.s. (6.27 p.m.) 2,496 tons, W. H. C. Millward, for Napier. Wednesday, August 13 Kaimai s.s. (7.43 a.m.) 1,435 tons, R. Blompeid, for Wellington.
ARRIVALS Wednesday, August 13 Gael m.v. (10.0 a.m.) 45 tons, Reeves, from. Wellington. COASTWISE MOVEMENTS The Kakapo completed coal loading yesterday and sailed about 6.30 for Napier. The Kaimai with coal for Wellington was unable to depart last evening on account of a crew deficiency, but sailed this morning. The Kai;epo commenced coal loading last evening and is expected to sail tomorrow night.
The Karu is expected to return about Saturday to load coal for Miramar. The Gabriella is scheduled to arrive from Wellington at the weekend with cargo and after discharge will load timber and coal for return. The Rata is expected to leave Tarakohe this evening with cement for Greymouth.
