GOLF Woon Sets Course Record To Win West Coast Title

Playing first-class golf, D. E. Woon, of Christchurch, set. a new course record when he won tfie West Coast golf championship at Westport, yesterday afternoon. The course hod recently been lengthened to 6,006 yards and Woon completed the 18 holes in 68, defeating his Westport opponent, C. F. Schadick, 3 and 2 in the final, which was played in fineweather.
