Meal For Mice
While many housewives have complained of the depredations caused by mice in the kitchen, it is probable that not many have had the same cause of complaint as a Blenheim woman who recently had .a brooch oaten by mice. The brooch was of bread, moulded and painted, and was left in a wardrobe clasped to a dress. Taking the; dress out one day the woman found that the mice had chewed through ’ the , frock and nibbled all the bread off the brooch, leaving only the metal base.
