GOLF DRAW FOR WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP

The draw for the qualifying round for 'the. Grey Ladies’ Club championships, to be played tomorrow is as follows. As many players as possible are to commence play at 10.30 a.m.:— . No. 1 Tee. —Mrs Hooper and Miss Blair'; Mrs Robertson and Mrs Wilkins; Mrs Hannan and Mrs W. G. McKay; ' Mrs Murdoch and Miss Hambleton; Mrs McCarthy and Miss King; Mrs Chivers and Mrs Alexander; . Miss Taaffe and Miss Robertson; Mrs Bluett and Mrs Boustridge. No. 10 Tee.—Mrs Brayshay and Mrs Jones: Mrs Batty and Mrs Chibnall; Miss McKnight and Miss Moore; Mrs J. Smith and Mrs McKape; Mrs Lambert and Mrs A. L. McKay; Mrs Patton and Mrs Heaphy; Mrs Ellis and Mrs Meldrum. The July mid-monthly medal match will be played in conjunction with the above match. The bisque bogey match postponed from last Wednesday will be played on Wednesday next. The draw is the same as was published last week and is posted in the clubhouse. The matches postponed by the Waitahu Ladies’ Golf Club last week will be played this week-end.

Men’s Championship

The semi-finals of the Greymouth men’s senior championship will be played at 1.15 p.m. tomorrow, the draw being as follows:—H. C. Hill v A. K. Smith, A. B. Lancaster v B. W. Caulton.

Other draws are:—lntermediate championship: A. E. Foster v Q. E. Heaphy, T. Cameron v W. G. Eadie. (Sunday) A. J. Brownlie v H. S. Ray. Junior championship (tomorrow): A. L. McKay v J. J. O’Donnell; fourhorsemen cup: D. Hardie v R. W. Murdoch, L. Mardon v R. Francis. For players not in the above a sealed hole stroke handicap will be played, players to arrange their own partners, and to play in threes. IKAM'ATUA CLUB
