HOCKEY HOKITIKA BEATS TRINITY BY 14 GOALS TO NIL

In the women’s matches on Saturday, Hokitika defeated Trinity by 14 goals to nil, Runanga defeated Cobden by three goals to one, and Greymouth and St Columba drew, one all. Goals were scored for Hokitika by D. Gilman-(7), J. Stoop (4), J. Gilman (2) and D. McLean. For Runanga E. Warwick (2) and J. Wright scored and E. Cusack goaled for Cobden. Greymouth’s goal against St Columba was scored by M. Newton and S. Dunn scored for St Columba.

The men’s competitions were continued on Saturday afternoon, Greymouth defeating Pacific by four goals (J .Best (2), M. Newton and D. Bradley) to one (L. Coffey). Rtmgers, with a goal scored by S. Hands, defeated Wheelmen by one goal to nil.
