DISPLACED PERSONS IN U.S. ZONE
BERLIN, April 14. Lieutenant-General Lucius Clay, governor of the United States zone of Germany, has offered a 60 days’ food supply to each of about 530,000 displaced persons in the United States zone who are willing to return to their own countries. /‘American help cannot continue indefinitely,” said General Clay. ‘Those of you who remain in the American zone rather than return home face uncertain conditions.”
