N.Z. Women’s Cricket Team
In the opening match of their Aus'tralian tour a team of New Zealand iwomen cricketers beat New South [Wales juniors by 139 runs. The visitors batted first and scored six for 1190, declared (J. Clothier 88, M. Coldham 56, N. Haynes 4, J. Hatcher 10, J. Fulford 4, I. Lamason 2, N. Sheridan 6 not out, J. Lamason 6 'not out, sundries 14). Clothier and i Coldham put on 100 in 104 minutes. [Clothier was in great form and her 'total included nine fours. The New Zealanders bowled well to dismiss [New South Wales for '5l. N. Sheri'dan took four for 7, J. Lamason two [for 5, I. Lamason two for 7, and Z. ! Martin two for 4.—Sydney, March 21.
