BRETTON WOODS BILL PASSED AT CANBERRA
CANBERRA. March 21. The International Monetary Agreements Bill, ratifying the Bretton Woods agreement, passed all stages in the. Australian House of Representatives early this morning. The voting in a division on the second reading was 55 to five. The Minister of Transport (Mr E. J. Ward), who vigorously opposed the bill, did not vote. His absence evoked some critical comments while the division was being taken. Fie also abstained from voting last week on an important clause of the Stevedoring Industry Bill.
