ATHLETICS “Broken Time” Payments To Be Discussed

(Rec. 11.10 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 13. “Broken-time’* payments to athletes competing in international events, including the 1948 Olympic Games, are to be discussed at a spe-cially-convened congress of ternational Amateur Athletic I ederation in London on June 9 and 10. The issue was first raised at the federation’s congress on the occasion of the European Games at Oslo m August. 1946, and was then supported by Belgium, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Icefand.
