CAR-DRIVER KILLED

TWO PASSENGERS INJURED (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Feb. 13. A fatal accident occurred at Te Awamutu to-day. The victims were: Killed .William Paul, aged 21, a farm hand, 1 of Paterangi. Injured Valentine Otene, aged 23, a farm hand, of Paterangi, fractured skull and other injuries. Mrs Thelma Jane McConnach, of Paterangi, concussion. A five-seater motor-car, driven by Paul was going towards Paterangi when it skidded and struck a stationary truck. Paul was killed instantly. Otene’s condition is serious, but Mrs McConnach’s condition was reported to be satisfactory.
