MURDER CHARGE

GREYMOUTH WOMAN IN COURT further remand granted Margaret Campbell Doel, aged 21, married, of Greymouth, was charged in the Greymouth Court this morning with the murder at Greymouth on December 31 last of her infant male child. Messrs. J. B. Hood and E P. Stratford, J.P.’s, presided. The accused, who was arrested at Auckland on February 1, following inquiries by Detective H. Constable at Greymouth, appeared in custody, on remand. _ Detective-Sergeant C. H. Davis asked that the accused be further remanded to appear at Christchurch on February 17. Mr. W. D. Taylor, on behalf oi the accused, offered no objection to the remand, which was granted. . The lower court/ hearing of the charge will take/place at Greymouth, but the date has not yet been definitely fixed.
