ATHLETICS Arrival Of Australian Sprinter

(P.A.) AUCKLAND, Feb. 10. The Australian 100 yards champion sprinter, J. F. Treloar, arrived in Auckland by Tasman flying-boat to-day and left by train for Wellington on his way to Christchurch, where he will compete at a meeting next Saturday against the American, Don Campbell. Treloar will then travel with the touring American team, and will run at Napier on February 22 and at Whangarei on February 26. The Australian will compete at the New Zealand championships in Auckland on February 28. It is doubtful whether the American team, with the exception of Al Hershey, will be seen in action at the championship meeting. Events For To-night’s Meeting The following programme has been arranged for the Greymouth Amateur Athletic Club’s meeting to be held this evening at Victoria Park: Senior and junior men: 75 yards, 220 yards, three-quarter miles. Senior discus and high jump; junior javelin throw. Women's 75 yards and 100 yards and shot putt.
