British Machine Scores In Classic Race (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Feb. 9. The Auckland Trotting Club’s February meeting was concluded yesterday in fine weather. There was a large attendance and the track was hard and fast. The first two-year-old classic of the season, the Great Northern Trotting Stakes, was won very easily by the Te Awamutu-trained youngster British Machine, from the Christchurch candidates, Sir Vivian and Mala.
