WARNING AGAINST BRITISH TREATY PARIS, February 6. The Communist Party issued a communique after a meeting of the party’s political bureau, saying, “the signing of a Franco-British treaty of alliance before obtaining assurances to increase the Ruhr coal deliveries and also the severest inter-Allied control of the Ruhr basin and the security of our frontiers, would deprive France of important bargaining points in future negotiations on German affairs.”
