The acquisition ,o.f an aircraftcarrier for the Royal Australian Navy is still being investigated. It is understood that the chief difficulty is that of manning, for the ship would require 800 men exclusive of a large number of technicians. —Canberra, Feb. 7. Uranium in Argentina Technicians who examined uranium ore discovered in San Luis State of the Argentine reported that they indicated important deposits. Scientists found large nodules of uranium embedded in lumps of pitchblende taken from the Santa Ana mine near Totoral. —Buenos Aires, Feb. 6.
