Polish Pardons.
President Bierut has pardoned the Polish Colonel, Jan Rzepecki and four others who were sentenced to imprisonment as members of the High Command “ underground organisation, “Win”. He has also commuted the death sentence of Marian Golebiewski, who was convicted of having been associated with “Win.”—Warsaw, February 7.
