Youngsters’ Deaths The deaths of two well-bred youngsters have been reported this week. A filly foal by Nightmarch from Tuahine owned by Mrs Z Rutherford died from tetanus when only five weeks old, and a yearling colt by Finis from Moorflower, owned by Messrs E. G. McCullough and F. D. Jones broke a leg when playing in a paddock and was destroyed. This yearling showed exceptional quality and would have commanded a substantial sum if he had been on the market.
