ANOTHER RICH FIND IN SOUTH AFRICA LONDON, Feb. 5. “Another big gold find is reported from the Orange Free State,” says Reuter’s correspondent in Johannesburg. “Boring at the Geduld 2 mine yielded gold assaying 1904dwt from 6.58 inches . The gold was found at a depth of 4800 ft. “News of the new rich gold strike has added millions of pounds to the value of Orange Free State gold shares on the London Stock Exchange,” says the Evening Standard. [/‘The telephone from South Africa to London is jammed with calls from Johannesburg stockbrokers wanting to buy London-held shafes.
